Hi Pop MyStylist Program is a personalized shopping assistant program hybrid-ed Macy's in-person shopping experience and Stitch Fix's subscription service.
This program serves a very targeted group of customer: the one that does not know how to pick and match. It sounds harsh and a little bit insulting.
--"Are you really saying that there are people with horrible taste on wearing and need you help?"
--"Yes, we are. And we are here to help."
After the customer joined the program, we will have a real person chatting with the customer to guide the shopping experience virtually. This helps avoid the awkwardness of shopping at Macy's and been helped by in-store stylists.
After the customer shopped a few times, we can further opt-in a subscription service similar to Stitch Fix. While Stitch Fix use AI to generate recommendations for users, we use AI guided recommendations reviewed by our stylists. It means that all the recommendations we made are reviewed by a real human stylist. Inactive accounts will be removed due to limitations to our service volume.
